The Bloody Unknown

“The Bloody Unknown” was a hardcover coffee-table book project created with Maddy Rojhan, a Tasmanian journalist. Both Maddy and I had just finished university and were eager to begin a meaningful project—The Bloody Unknown was the result.

What began as a one-year project soon took on a life of its own. Together, we created and shared ten stories of Tasmanians who had experienced displacement from their homes.

Over the course of two years, we brought this project to life, amplifying the voices of some very special people while also raising funds for a fairer world.

The process of designing and photographing this book taught me a great deal, and ultimately sparked my journey into storytelling through mindful and thought-provoking design and photography.
